Empire state building
Hello fellow readers!
I recently woke up, I dreamed that I had a falcon as a
house pet, it seems a bit strange to just dream about that, oh well it was just
a dream.
I got up out of my bed and walked out to the balcony, my
room has a very nice view of the city, I live on the 19th floor, so I can see most of the city from my sight. I
washed up and got down to eat breakfast. After that I got up to my room to get
more money so I could take a cab to the empire state building.
Roughly 15
minutes later I arrived at the building, it was a huge line of people there. I
almost waited 45 minutes to just get inside, I paid the lady at the desk for a
tour guide so I could get a lot of information about the history of the empire
state.
When my tour guide arrived I was waiting with more then
twenty people, most of them where seniors or family’s with kids. The tour guide
opened with a bit cheesy joke just to crack people up a bit. Then she started
to talk about the beginning of the building. It was constructed by Gregory
Johnson and the architecture that he was working at in 1929, it was later
completed in 1931. It has 102 stories, 73 elevator and is almost 450 meters high. It was the
largest building in New York for almost 40 years until the world trade centers
where build.
Empire state building is also famous because many big
movies has been filmed there, a movie everyone knows that played out there was
King Kong.
After the tour was over I took one of the elevators up to
the 86th floor so I could
walked out on the observation deck, there I had a clear view over the city. I'm going to take a brake now from the blog, I've got to take pictures from here to show the family later. Cya!
